Hemp produces oil which can replace synthetic solvents for a wide range of uses, including paints and paint thinners. In fact Rembrandt, Van Gogh and Gainsborough used many Hemp based paints when creating their master pieces.

In 1916, the U.S. Government predicted that by the 1940’s all paper would come from Hemp and that no more trees need to be cut down.
